National Communications Team; Bayo, Dare Meets to Review Mid-Term Performance

The National Communications Team (NCT), chaired by the Honourable Minister of Information and National Orientation, met at the headquarters of the Federal Ministry of Information and National Orientation, Nigeria.

 

Among other things, a comprehensive review of the Team’s mid-term performance was conducted, as part of its commitment to transparency and accountability in public communication.

As key communication stakeholders within the government, the Team enjoys a growing synergy that is commendable.

 

The Team, set up by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, brings together the Federal Ministry of Information and National Orientation, the heads of public information agencies, and aides in the Presidency of the Federal Republic of Nigeria responsible for media, information, strategy, and communication.

 

The unity of purpose and coordination within the Team has significantly enhanced the quality, coherence, and reach of public messaging on the policies and achievements of the Tinubu Administration.

 

The Team will continue to serve Nigerians with professionalism, while striving to speak with one voice. It will intensify efforts to showcase the achievements of the Tinubu Administration, in line with the Renewed Hope Agenda.

 

The various members of the National Communications Team in attendance included: Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Mr. Bayo Onanuga; Special Adviser to the President on Media and Public Communication, Mr. Sunday Dare; Special Adviser to the President on Policy Communication, Mr. Daniel Bwala.

 

Others were the Directors-General of NTA, Comrade Abdulhamid Dembos; FRCN, Dr. Mohammed Bulama; NOA, Mr. Lanre Issa-Onilu; VON, Mallam Jibrin Baba Ndace; ARCON, Dr. Olalekan Fadolapo; Executive Secretary, Nigerian Press Council, Dr. Dili Ezegha; and the Managing Director, NAN, Mr. Ali M.Ali.

 

Other members in attendance included the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Tope Ajayi; Senior Special Assistant to the President on Print Media, Abdulaziz Abdulaziz; Senior Special Assistant to the President on Digital Media, Mr.Otega Ogra; Senior Special Assistant to the President on Strategic Communication, Linda Akhigbe; and the Special Assistant to the President on Public Affairs, Ali Audu.
