
In a bid to promote girl child education across the country. Miss Joy Ogah has emerged as the vice President of the Federation for one-day.
The Vice President, Kashim Shettima on Monday met with a PLAN International delegation led by its Director of Programme, Quality and Innovation, Helen Mfonobong Idiong.
During the visit, In what could be described as a demonstration of mentorship for the younger generation, particularly the girl-child, Vice President Kashim Shettima vacated his seat to allow teenager, Joy Ogah sit over the affairs of the second office of Nigeria for one day and address the nation.
“I assured stakeholders and development partners of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s commitment to promoting girl-child education across Nigeria,” Shettima remarked.
Continuing “We will continue our engagement with PLAN International and explore how the force and strength of government can be brought to bear on your solid advice regarding girl-child education,” the vice President said.
