A former National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdullahi Ganduje, has been inaugurated as the Chairman of the Board of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN).
The ceremony, which was held in Abuja on Wednesday, came weeks after Ganduje resigned as the National Chairman of the APC.
In January, Tinubu appointed him as the FAAN Board Chair.

According to the APC, Ganduje resigned owing to personal reasons.
Inaugurating the New Board Members, Hon. Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo charged the team to be exceptional in professionalism.
The new Board is tasked with steering FAAN towards:
– Safer, more secure airports
– Sustainable infrastructure development
– Improved passenger experience
– Stronger partnerships for aviation growth

The Minister noted “Together, we are committed to making Nigerian airports not just gateways to the world, but symbols of national pride and progress.”
